This concept was initially created a section of 5D class at Northeastern University. Working with the mission of Northeastern Crossing, a campus organization built to bridge the Northeastern community with the Roxbury community, in mind, we researched in the Northeastern archives to find information about relevant social justice issues. In our searchings, we found articles from as early as the 1940s which touched on topics which are still hot-button today. We decided to do these works justice and show them side-by-side with modern takes.
